Welcome to the ESSA 2018 Conference! For more than two decades, this conference has been the singular event that brings together districts from throughout Illinois in order to share information about creative, reliable and replicable classroom and school practices. Your district is moving to a Standards-based reporting system. How does that change your classroom? How will grading work and how will you keep track? When will you have time to retest? Will you ever see your family again, as you are buried in paperwork? This presentation will address the idea behind SBR, ideas for classroom management, ideas for recording grades, and additional classroom support. Teachers already involved in SBR are invited to share what has worked in their classrooms and ask others for ideas.
