The goal of this interactive workshop is to provide Diversity, Cultural Awareness, and Effective Communication training to help administrators and educators understand the importance and impact of their roles in the lives of their students on a daily basis. Educators will gain strategies and tools to effectively work with students with learning and behavioral challenges that can be taken back to their schools to use right away. This workshop will highlight the importance of building positive relationships to have consistent student achievement and encourage school leaders both to self-evaluate and bridge the cultural gap with their students. School leaders will be challenged with the question, "How often do I study my leadership style and how does it affect my staff and students?" [This is an exhibitor, vendor, private consultant, or conference-sponsor session.]
